Yoga for Backs

A gentle class that utilizes yoga props for maximum support and benefit.  This class is suitable for those with special needs and varied abilities. The focus is on mindfully strengthening, stretching, and releasing tension in the back and related areas.  It is ideal for various physical conditions such as low back pain, compressed discs, neck pain, stenosis, scoliosis, sciatica, muscle pain, tight muscles, injury, and stress.

Pilates

Connect to your core in a friendly way!  Pilates provides a truly rewarding, low-impact workout, leaving you poised, relaxed, and invigorated.  Class includes core conditioning, stretching, and full body strengthening.  You will gain increased muscle tone and flexibility, improved range of motion and balance, and healthy heart conditioning.   No experience is necessary and all ages are welcome.

Balance Barre Workout

The perfect blend of total body conditioning exercises, yoga, and barre techniques, all in one delightful and well-balanced fitness class that will give you long-lasting benefits that you can take with no impact!  All levels are welcome in this combination class of workout, stretching, and therapeutic exercises that explore a variety of movement.  We utilize helpful tools and props for finding balance, alignment, and benefit.  Suitable for those with pregnancy and mild knee, hip or back pain.

Gentle Yoga

Enjoy a guided approach to basic yoga poses.  Empower yourself to try something different, find deep stretch and strength, and inform your practice for your favorite vinyasa flow or cross training.  Gentle yoga can bring deep relief to common challenges such as tension, pain, anxiety, low self-esteem, and lack of motivation and moodiness, as well as countless physical ailments.  The use of props enhances the accessibility to everyone as well as to those with injury or special conditions.

Belly Dance

Ancient and therapeutic, this low impact exercise is for all levels and all ages.  The class begins with a gentle warm up, then we learn basic movements and practice them to upbeat world music, and try them in choreography.  The use of dance props like veils, swords, and finger cymbals makes for a playful experience!  Opportunities for performance are available, but not required.  Bare bellies are your choice!

$60 per 1/2 hour, or $90 per 1 hour, or $120 per 1 1/2 hours
